SPECIAL  MINISTRIES

Care Building Ministry

We know there are people who are struggling, and we want to be able to help in the time when they are having the struggle to put food on their table and we want to be able to help in their time of need. If you are in need of food please bring a form of ID and a document that shows your physical address in order to sign up to receive groceries. Food is given out on Wednesdays at 6 pm. Monday Night for the Master

We meet every third Monday of the month to show our love for God and love for others. Whether it be through the care building, writing cards, prayer sessions, making phone calls, or personal visits to those we miss and love our goal is to serve as Jesus taught us to.

Ronald McDonald House

For families with ill or injured children,  the House offers a caring, comfortable, and supportive place to stay.  Individuals, organizations, and churches in Middle Georgia provide a home-cooked meal every night of the year. Thomaston Road accepted the opportunity to help with the McMeal Program. Click the button below to find out more.

Friend & Neighbor Day

We love our friends and neighbors! While we make it a joyful habit to always invite our friends and neighbors to worship, Bible class, and other events we have a special day each year where our goal is to pack the church house with friends and neighbors. Be on the lookout for an announcement about our next Friend and Neighbor Day  for fellowship, fun, and food!

Rose's Cottage

Rose's Cottage is a ministry located on our church campus ... we like to say that it is located at the intersection of faith and creativity.  About 20 ladies participate in making beautiful quilts that they give to our elderly members, children at the Ronald McDonald House, Veterans, children's homes,  and various other individuals.  Their anchor text in serving comes from Ephesians 2:10:  "For we are God's handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do."  To learn more about Rose's Cottage click the button below.
